Data or pulse interface for residential water meters
Sensus High Resolution Interface (HRI) Sensor is a universal data interface for residential water meters, enabling reliable remote reading of conventional mechanical meters. It is compatible with single-jet, multi-jet, and piston meters with dry-dial or semi-dry registers, and can be retrofitted to Sensus meters pre-equipped with an HRI modulator.
Using a load-free, non-magnetic detection principle, the HRI captures meter movement in both directions accurately without influencing performance, even in demanding environments such as flooded meter pits. It is available as HRI-A, a high-resolution pulse unit with flow direction detection, or HRI-B, an electronic data unit providing meter ID and counter readings with M-Bus communication and optional pulse output.
