Sensus International sets out as a new, independent global smart metering company
Ludwigshafen, Germany, 27th May, 2026: Sensus International is today unveiled as a newly independent and global smart meter business that will help to shape the future of modern utilities.
In October 2025, international private equity firm AURELIUS agreed to acquire Xylem Inc.’s metering assets outside of North America. After receiving regulatory approvals and meeting standard closing conditions, the sale is now complete.
