High-performance static water meter with LoRaWAN AMI communication

    iPERL® (International) Water Meterarrow_forward

Sensus iPERL® LoRa is a solid-state smart water meter that pairs remanent magnetic field measurement with a fixed LoRaWAN® AMI communication network. It delivers sustained R800 accuracy across its expected 15-year operational life and can be installed in any orientation, without straight pipe leads in or out.

Built on a low-power, long-range LoRaWAN network, iPERL LoRa enables secure, two-way data exchange and frequent, network-wide meter insights. Utilities can identify network issues such as leakage early, save time and money, target field crews more effectively, and raise customer service levels — making it an ideal fit for smart-city integration and demand-driven water management.

For resilience, iPERL LoRa supports two AMR fallback protocols if the LoRaWAN network is unavailable: one-way Wireless M-Bus for drive-by or walk-by reading, and the two-way SensusRF protocol for historical reads, remote configuration, and alarms. Wired M-Bus modules are also available for integration into BMS and SCADA systems.

    Feature List
