    Data interface for MeiStream and MeiTwin water meters

    Sensus HRI-Mei Sensor is a data interface for industrial water meters, designed for high-resolution pulse output with flow direction detection. It is compatible with MeiStream and MeiTwin meters and supports pulse-based and M-Bus data transmission for monitoring and control applications.

    The HRI-Mei sensor can be retrofitted to compatible meters without breaking the metrological seal and uses load-free, inductive scanning to detect meter movement without influencing performance. Its robust, hermetically sealed design enables reliable operation in harsh environments, including flooded meter pits.

    Typical applications include industrial monitoring and SCADA systems, flow rate indication using frequency converters, local and remote meter reading for billing, data logging, and profiling via fixed networks, radio modems, or GSM-based communication systems.
