    Customised test benches from DN 25 to DN 200 and DN 15-50

    Sensus Fully Automated Test Benches are high-capacity metrology systems designed for the rigorous verification of bulk and residential water meters. By integrating specialized processor units with PC-based control software, these benches automate the entire measurement cycle—from flow regulation to data logging—eliminating manual error and ensuring a combined measurement uncertainty of less than 0.2%.

    Automated Control Logic The system architecture utilizes an RS 232 or LAN connection to communicate with a central processor. This unit manages the complex synchronization of:

    • Flow Regulation: Precise control of pumps, valves, and flow diverters.
    • Data Integration: Simultaneous reading of temperature, pressure, and pulse data from master and tested meters.
    • Verification Cycles: Automatic execution of testing protocols for maximum pressure and temperature endurance.

  4. Our test benches have a flow rate up to 630 m3/h. Bench components that come in contact with water are made of stainless steel, brass or resistant plastics.
  5. The testing benches are equipped with turning end pieces to position meters upside down. This promotes deaeration of the testing line. To ensure effective testing, we recommend evacuating the system beforehand.

    Specifications and Standards

    • Compliance: Meets ISO 4064, EN 14154, OIML R 49, OIML R 75, and EN 1434; compliant with EU directives 75/33/EC and 79/830 EEC.
    • Design Standard: Constructed to ISO 4185 international standards for flow measurement.
    • Measurement Accuracy: Combined uncertainty <0.2% (2SD) with a base assembly capability better than 0.06%.
